Registered Veterinary Nurse

full-time position 01.08.21

Do you love cats? Are you looking for the next challenge in your career?

The Oxford Cat Clinic is looking for an RVN with great cattitude!

We are a busy first opinion 2 site practice with a strong referral arm headed up by Martha Cannon (Feline Specialist) and Caroline Blundell

(Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine) offering a unique opportunity to specialise in all things cat.

Our pro-active team provides a high standard of care and expertise to all our patients.

We are the only cat clinic in the UK to have an onsite Specialist and so we offer a unique opportunity to nurse complex and challenging cases to a high standard of care. However, we are also looking to relaunch and increase our range of nurse clinics as client education and support is hugely important

to us, so an interest in this aspect of nursing would also be great. You can see that this role is both interesting and varied but don't worry, if you lack experience in some or all of these areas we offer full training where needed, attitude and character fit are of more importance to us. We work hard to provide high standards in all aspects of our work and are looking for an individual who has the drive to help us achieve this.

The Oxford Cat Clinic team is a collaborative team, working with shared values and of course a passion for all things feline. As a team we

encourage everyone to share ideas and to value each other and of course our clients who are the bedrock of the Clinic. Here at OCC any process  issues are addressed head on and the team are encouraged to be part of this process. All team members receive a C-Me profiling report when they join as we firmly believe that learning more about our own behaviour as well as those of our fellow team members will build a more resilient team and a more sustainable business. Achieving great communication across all aspects of the business is of paramount importance to us as it optimises personal and team performance which leads to greater team cohesion, engagement and ultimately to greater career satisfaction for us as individuals.

If you think this is the role for you and you would like to find out more then, please email your CV and a cover letter outlining why you think this role is for you to or call our Practice Manager, Melanie Weatherall for more information.
