Meet our Veterinary Nurses

Nicola Osborne - Head Veterinary Nurse

Nic first joined the practice in 2012, having qualified earlier that year. She worked here for three years, and then left to go on maternity leave to have her little boy Liam. After a brief period in another practice Nic returned to the Cat Clinic in June 2017 as she missed working with the kitties too much! Nic has 4 cats of her own; Mandoo, Baghera, Edward Scissor Paws and Ellie. She also has a dog called Bramble and a newly acquired rescue rabbit called Jet. She became Head Nurse in Oct 2018.

Stephanie Barnard - Veterinary Acupuncturist

Steph relocated from Kent in 2016. She studied Information Design at the University of the Arts, London followed by Biomedical Science at Kings College before pursuing a career in Veterinary Nursing.

Since qualifying, she has gained experience in a wide variety of practices including first opinion, referral, and large animal practice. She’s had rescue cats all her life and aspired to work in feline-only practice.

Steph has one golden oldie named Mr.Dribbles. She has a keen interest in Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture focusing on alternative ways to relieve Chronic pain. In March 2017 she completed her ISFM Certificate in Feline Nursing and designed the new practice website. In 2019 she finished the Nurses Certificate in Anaesthesia and hopes to start the Advanced Diploma in September.
